The ED ring is one of many industrial seals. As a special seal for pneumatic joints such as pipe joints, hydraulic plugs, transition joints, it has a better sealing effect than traditional O-rings. This elastomer seal is used as an axial static seal. It is applied to the threaded port and the end of the screw. The cross section remains almost constant under high pressure.

 

Comparison with the general O-ring advantages: small mechanical deformation of the cross section, no relative movement during the pressure cycle, long-term maintenance of excellent sealing performance, working pressure up to 60Mpa
